Siren Modernization Project

Hawaii is in the midst of a multi-million dollar project to upgrade and augment the state’s outdoor warning siren  system. The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency has partnered with the counties on the $25 million project to replace outdated sirens and install new sirens to provide uniform coverage across the islands.
